Program Summary
Medicare has introduced the Medicare Spending Per Beneficiary – Post Acute Care (MSPB-PAC) measure to determine specific levels of Home Health costs and spending per beneficiary.
MSPB-PAC is designed to encourage agencies to strengthen care coordination within the Home Health model. By tracking and calculating costs, this measure holds agencies accountable for the resources utilized throughout a patient’s care under their services.
This progressive presentation outlines the rationale for this regulatory change and how to address current programming for success.
