Ohio Home Care & Hospice Federal Advocacy Roundtable

The Ohio Council for Home Care and Hospice, in conjunction with our lobbyists at Hicks Partners, is kicking off our federal advocacy efforts by hosting the first in an ongoing series of meetings for OCHCH members.
Our first event, to be held on November 15th at noon, will include a virtual meet and greet with Emily Graeter, Legislative Assistant to Congressman Michael Carey.
As we ramp up our engagement on federal initiatives, we need your participation to amplify our voices to be successful. We expect our first meeting to run approximately two hours and will include discussion and Q&A.
Agenda Outline
• Welcome and Overview from Greg Davis, Veteran and agency owner, and Lisa Von Lehmden, OCHCH Board Chair.
• Discussion on differences between state & federal advocacy.
• Fireside Chat on Ohio’s Congressional Delegation, federal processes, initiatives related to HCBS federal rate cuts, and beyond. Featuring Emily Graeter, Legislative Assistant to Congressman Mike Carey, and Zach Holzapfel, Hicks Partners.
This event is intended for active OCHCH Members, however, prospective members are welcome to register and Jen Goldsberry, Director of Community Relations, will be in touch to discuss membership benefits and engagement with OCHCH.
