Join our expert partners from McBee for an in-depth, two-day comprehensive OASIS-E training with 13 CEs available.
We will cover all the new OASIS-E items, as well as many legacy items used for functional scores in PDGM, Quality of Care Star Ratings, and Value-Based Purchasing. This educational session will better equip you to mange the challenges that OASIS-E has presented for agencies.
Content will also include many practice scenarios, the most up-to-date guidance as well as tips and tricks to help your agency complete the OASIS more accurately and efficiently.

Our Speakers
Michelle Horner BSN, RN, HCS-O, HCS-D, HCS-H, COS-S is the Manager of Post-Acute Education for McBee, bringing over 30 years of healthcare experience. Specializing in Quality, Clinical, and Regulatory Consulting and Education, she is a sought-after speaker for various home care associations. Michelle is dedicated to developing and delivering tailored client education programs both in person and via the McBee Post-Acute Academy. Additionally, Michelle currently serves on the AHCC's Board of Medical Specialty Coding and Compliance Certification Committees for both OASIS HCS-O and coding HCS-D.
Lisa Selman-Holman, JD, BSN, RN, HCS-D, COS-C, is the VP of Education & Quality at McBee, bringing over 35 years of expertise in home health and hospice. As a registered nurse and home care attorney, she specializes in regulatory compliance. Lisa has held various roles, from field nurse to executive, managing accreditation surveys, acquisitions, and regulatory crises. In 2004, she founded Selman-Holman & Associates, offering consulting, coding and OASIS review services. Lisa is a renowned educator, known for turning challenges into achievements. Joining McBee in 2021, she leads education initiatives at the Post-Acute Academy, providing courses for home health and hospice staff and executives, including clinical, regulatory and onboarding requirements.
About Recordings and Evaluations
After the event, McBee will send an email to all registered attendees with the recording and evaluation. When the evaluation is complete, attendees will be awarded CE’s for the event.
OASIS Certification Exams
These voluntary exams have been developed to allow participants to demonstrate their abilities in accurate OASIS completion.
Certificate for OASIS Specialist, Clinical (COS-C) Exam: Now administered by OASIS Answers, Inc., administrative changes have precluded OCHCH from hosting an exam site for the COS-C Exam, as done in the past. COS-C candidates may arrange to take the exam on a date of their choosing at one of five regional computer-based testing centers in Ohio. Details at oasisanswers.com.
Home Care Clinical Specialist, OASIS (HCS-O) Exam: This new certification is designed for home care clinicians with at least two years' experience working with OASIS. HCS-O candidates may arrange to take the exam at a testing center in Ohio. Call the Board of Medical Specialty Coding at (800) 897-4509. Details at BMSC Exam Information and in the AHCC Online Store.
