In this workshop, we explore the neuroscience behind change management and decision-making, giving leaders the tools to understand how the brain reacts to change and how to guide teams through uncertainty with confidence.

More Than a Webinar

This is a multi-part, highly interactive series. When you register you are signing up for a total of 6, one-hour sessions through July, August, September, and October. Each session will be held on Zoom. Follow up tasks and homework will be assigned. Summaries of each session group are below.

Dan Docherty, Ph.D., is President and Chief Coaching Officer at Braintrust in Mason, Ohio. Sustained performance starts with a clear leader vision with shared standards that align with organizational goals. In this engaging, neuroscience-backed workshop, participants will explore how coaching, accountability, and shared vision with expectations drive long-term excellence. In these sessions, we combine insights from the neuroscience of coaching with practical tools for defining and aligning Shared Standards, KPIs, and Goals to elevate team performance.

  • Developing Your Leader Vision
  • How the brain responds to coaching, feedback, and accountability to create lasting behavioral change
  • Why clearly defined behavioral expectations are essential for sustainable success and high-performing teams
  • Identifying key performance categories and setting relevant KPIs that align with organizational objectives
  • Ensuring that shared standards directly support business goals, fostering clarity and consistency

Situational Conversation Summary

Effective leadership hinges on intentional situational conversations that build trust, drive engagement, and enhance performance. This workshop introduces and activates the NeuroCoaching 6P’s Approach, a research-backed framework for impactful conversations.

Focus:  The 6P’s Framework – A structured yet situationally fluent approach to generating trust and truth in coaching conversations to drive sustained performance:

  • Purpose – Setting the intent
  • Perspective – Understanding viewpoints
  • Plan/Path – Creating alignment
  • Problems – Addressing challenges
  • Performance – Driving accountability

Coaching Climate with Emotional Intelligence

A strong coaching culture is built through intentional leadership, meaningful conversations, and a shared vision for success. Our final two sessions utilize a proprietary Coaching Climate Assessment to help leaders and teams gain deep insights into their coaching environment. By evaluating seven key areas of coaching effectiveness through data-driven visualization, participants will uncover strengths, pinpoint areas for growth, and develop strategies to enhance communication, engagement, and overall performance.

  • Discuss the amplifiers of a coaching climate
  • Review seven key areas of coaching effectiveness
  • Overview of the four domains of emotional intelligence
  • Transform Emotional Intelligence theory to action
  • Putting it all together - workshops 1-4
