Danielle Smart MSW, LSW, Client Navigator, NAMI Ohio
Danielle Smart is a licensed social worker and the client navigator at NAMI Ohio, a grassroots, non-profit organization that has focused for over forty years on providing advocacy, education, and support to people living with mental illness and their families. Danielle completed her education at The Ohio State University, receiving her Bachelor of Science and Master of Social Work. Throughout her social work career in central Ohio, Danielle has worked with a variety of different clients and populations, including pregnant people considering adoption, adults living with severe and persistent mental illness, and adults living with HIV. In her current role at NAMI Ohio, Danielle works to connect people living with mental illness and their families to resources in their communities. Danielle is passionate about ensuring that all Ohioans have access to appropriate, affordable, and available mental health services.
