About the Hospice Billing Series
Hospice Billing regulations and updates are key to a successful revenue cycle for your hospice. This series will take you through the process of defining initial eligibility for the hospice patient, defining the specific regulatory requirements for admitting patients, the process of the Notice of Election, filing final claims and ensuring that you are reimbursed accurately. In addition, this series will review the Hospice Quality Reporting Program (HQRP) basics to be met to avoid penalties and the key data elements that are collected from Hospice claims that assist medical reviewers in determining whether you are a risk to the program.
