OCHCH and Archangel Wound Management present a webinar exploring the importance of assessing and evaluating skin in any wound, and the value of nutrition as a foundational factor in proper wound healing.

This webinar is being offered twice:  9 AM to 2:30 PM on January 31 and February 6. The agenda and timing for each day is identical.

Clinicians are increasingly encountering complex chronic wounds and patients with comorbidities. Home Health conditions often lack the necessary training to effectively manage these cases, emphasizing the need to bridge the expertise gap for successful outcomes.

OCHCH has partnered with Archangel of Mercy Wound Management to bring a complete wound case management education program for its active and prospective members specifically designed for home health agencies. Their ten-module, proprietary wound care and ostomy course called “STEPP into Healing" has been recognized as a critical innovation in wound care and has been taught to hundreds of home health clinicians across the country. The STEPP Method provides clinicians and therapists in the field with an easy to utilize tool that aid in evaluation, assessing and charting wounds effectively.

Denise Richlen, PT, WCC, DWC, OMS, CLT

Physical Therapist with 30 years of experience with expertise in wound assessment, treatment and consultation. Provides education and mentoring to interdisciplinary wound teams. Wound Care Certified (WCC), Diabetic Wound Certified (DWC) and Ostomy Management Specialist (OMS) through the National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy (NAWCO). Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) through Academy of Lymphatic Studies (ACOLS).
