Is your agency fully prepared when that Additional Documentation Request (ADR) letter arrives?  Don’t bury your head in the sand.  Join us for a comprehensive guide to mastering the ADR process.  This webinar will walk you through the role of medical review contractors, how agencies are selected for review, and the data analysis behind it.  Learn the steps for submitting charts, the content required, and the top reasons for denials and how to prevent them.  We will also cover how to respond to ADR letters, including timelines and necessary documentation, and the process for navigating the appeals stage with confidence.

Brenda brings nearly 30 years of healthcare experience, characterized by progressive leadership, a commitment to compliance, and a drive for excellence.  Starting her career as an Admission/Field Nurse, she advanced into operational and clinical leadership roles for a large provider.  Now serving as Chief Clinical Officer for MAC Legacy, Brenda leverages her expertise to guide consulting clients in achieving exceptional outcomes.  A CHAP-certified Home Health Consultant, she is dedicated to driving positive change in home health and hospice care.

Chris Gallarneau, BSW, LBSW, Senior Education Consultant, MAC Legacy

Chris Gallarneau, Senior Education Consultant at MAC Legacy, specializes in hospice education, healthcare operations, sales and marketing, and leadership development.  A certified ACHC and CHAP Consultant in Home Health and Hospice, he also serves on NHPCO’s Next Generation Leadership Council and the Membership Committees for both TNMHPO and TAHC&H. With over 18 years of hospice industry experience, Chris has held various leadership roles, driven by a passion for end-of-life care and the professionals who deliver it.  Outside of work, he enjoys family time outdoors, teaching young adults at his church, and attending sporting events.
